The ingredients :
  • 300 grams of chicken meat (finely ground)
  • 6 tablespoons grated coconut (not too young and not too old)
  • Salt (to taste, about 1 tablespoon)
  • 10 lemongrass stems (used for satay stalks)
  • Powdered chicken stock (to taste, if desired)

Ground spices :
  • 7 cloves of shallot
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 3 large red chilies (remove contents)
  • 5 cm kencur
  • 5 cm ginger
  • 4 cm turmeric
  • 5 cm galangal
  • 3 candlenuts (roast first)
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon coriander
  • 1 lemongrass stick (just take the white one)

How to make :
    1. Mix the ground chicken, grated coconut, salt and spices. Mix until all ingredients are well blended.
    2. If all the ingredients have been mixed and the seasoning has tasted delicious, a little dough ball and then wrap it in the prepared lemongrass stems. Do it until the dough runs out and has been wrapped around all the lemongrass stems.
    3. Heat the Teflon which has been given a little oil then cook the satay wrapped until cooked. Don't forget to flip through the satay wrapped around the chicken during the cooking process.
    4. If you want a more delicious satay wrap, you can bake this satay wrap after cooking it in Teflon.
    5. Chicken satay wrap ready to be served.
